Responsibilities:
Work in tandem with the automation team to foster a collaborative and learning-rich environment.
Ensure the continuous operation of GMP process and facility equipment, aiming for maximum uptime.
Lead technical efforts in the lifecycle management of automation systems, from design and validation to commissioning.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for automation system initiatives.
Craft and implement specifications and procedures for automation systems, ensuring their effectiveness and compliance.
Offer technical guidance and support to resolve automation system issues, enhancing manufacturing and maintenance processes.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Industrial Controls, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience with industrial automation and controls within a manufacturing setting, with a preference for backgrounds in biotech/pharmaceutical industries.
Availability for on-call rotation to support manufacturing operations outside of regular hours.
Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC, HMI development environments, and familiarity with safety practices.
An understanding of SCADA, Building Automation Systems, and potentially IT/OT network systems and security.
