LARGO - Asset Data Management Coordinator - Engineering

Job Description Summary
This position performs a full range of asset management functions and Geographic Information System (GIS) duties; prepares, formats and transfers asset engineering data from completed projects to appropriate stakeholders and databases, serves as a system matter expert responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing and improving work flow processes for asset management and GIS tasks. Work is performed under limited supervision.
Job Description
Additional Compensation/Benefits:
– Additional $3,800 employee benefit dollars; the unused balance of which can be kept as taxable income
– Defined Contribution Plan 401(a) with a generous 6.5% City match
– Benefits also include 12 paid leave days and 24 hour full access to City fitness center. Continuous learning is supported through tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.
– May receive $2,500 in relocation assistance for candidates outside Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, or Manatee counties.
– Flexible Workplace schedule may be available
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with major course work in Engineering, GIS or a closely related field and four (4) years of directly related experience in engineering project management, asset or infrastructure management including three (3) years of technical experience in GIS application and database management; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Preferred Certifications and Experience:
Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Certification
Infrastructure Asset Management Program experience
Knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management process and systems
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or project management experience relating to the design, construction, and/or maintenance of civil or architectural infrastructure projects
Valid Florida Driver’s License or from another state for transfer within 30 days of hire
