We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled individual to join our Internship Program as an AI/ML Intern.

This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in researching and applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions to real-world business cases. Our Interns work closely with our experienced team members, contributing to innovative projects and gaining valuable insights into the intersection of technology and business.

About you:

You have a curious nature and keep abreast of new developments or ideas gaining momentum in the world of technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning and advanced analytics. You want to know how and why people use technology and understand how they imagine better ways of working. You interject yourselves into the conversation to ask questions that help others clarify any problems, assumptions, and risks. You are outgoing, a people's person, can put people at ease and are easy to talk to. You are curious and want to help your team answer their toughest questions by learning from others and working together.

Requirements:

  • Deliver software and models for AI development projects following an agile methodology
  • Design and develop reference applications and model templates that apply AI research to real-world problems using public and private data sets, providing software for training, testing, operating, and updating models.
  • Design, develop, and contribute to software that applies AI research techniques to common problems.
  • Research and summarize new learnings and share with wider team
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions
  • Report and present development outcomes to stakeholders
  • A willingness to try new experiences and a love of learning.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, graphical)
Success Measures:
  • Timely development and delivery of high-quality software and AI models in support of both internal and external development stakeholders.
  • Effective AI knowledge-transfer to internal and external stakeholders through clear communication of software and AI model development progress, demos, and results presentations.
  • Active and constructive participation in diverse and interdisciplinary teams of designers, product teams
Some of the other things we care about:
  • Understanding of programming languages, ideally Python and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of systems design and an interest in modern cloud-based architectures
  • Knowledge of AI/ ML principles methodologies
  • Good storytelling skills and comfortable with building relationships and helping influence decisions.
