Potential for hybrid work after inital 2 months training at Waltham, MA Corporate office.
Responsibilities Responsabilities:
Administration of company health insurance, voluntary benefit plans and 401(k) in HRIS (ADP) system to include New Hire, Qualifying Event and Work Event enrollments.
Partner with insurance carriers, third party administrators, and brokers on daily items and investigate escalated benefit issues.
Run benefit reports in HRIS, including benefit eligibility, billing reconciliation, HRIS system audit and other ad-hoc needs.
Responsible for monthly reconciliation of Benefit Invoices and resolve inconsistencies.
Process Terminations to include updating HRIS system, notifying stake holders, benefit deduction prorations, Cobra administration, portability notifications and unemployment.
Assist with annual Benefits Open Enrollment to include communications, enrollment reporting, tracking, processes, and procedures.
Assist with ACA administration and annual/bi-annual system audits.
Process Unemployment Benefit claims.
Work closely with the Benefits Human Resources Generalist on various benefit projects that arise throughout the year.
Monitor the HR Benefit email daily, addressing employee and vendor questions for all benefit related inquiries.
Be a go-to benefits resource for employees, insurance carriers and third-party administrators and thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with leave of absence programs, disability, workers compensation, and entering benefit deductions into an HRIS/Payroll system.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources preferred but not required
Must possess at least one to three years of Human Resources experience (benefits concentration preferred)
Must demonstrate working knowledge of HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA
Competencies:
Ability to prioritize and perform daily work with minimal supervision.
Ability to utilize resources to assist in resolution of employee questions and escalated issues.
Provide outstanding customer service to our employees.
Able to clearly articulate information across all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.
Strong Excel, HRIS experience (ADP Workforce preferred), and Microsoft suite.
Desire to continue learning and growing within the Benefits field.
Must demonstrate flexibility working in a team environment.
