Summary We are seeking a Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at A & A Metro Transportation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices while supporting our commitment to quality service. Responsibilities Invoice Processing: Receive, obtain appropriate approvals, and enter vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy. Payment Execution: Prepare and process payments and ensure timely posting of transactions. Vendor Management: Maintain accurate vendor records, including W?9s, terms, and contact information. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve statement discrepancies promptly. Payroll Back up: Process weekly payroll as needed. Requirements 3-5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience (experience in the Transportation field is a plus). Knowledge of Paycom Payroll System or similar systems. Associate or bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong Organizational Skills. Accounting principles knowledge. Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop. Proficient in Excel and Outlook. High attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
