We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Endocrine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team in Smithtown, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endocrinology, with a preferred focus on diabetes education and management. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and contribute to the health and well-being of our community.

In this role you will:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with endocrine disorders, particularly diabetes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding diabetes management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment regimens based on patient progress and laboratory results.
  • Perform necessary procedures and tests as per clinical guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Participate in patient education programs and community outreach initiatives.
  • Stay current with advancements in endocrinology and diabetes management through continuous professional development.
We require:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (for NP) or a relevant graduate degree (for PA) from an accredited program.
  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in New York.
  • Certification as a Diabetes Educator (preferred).
  • Previous experience in endocrinology or diabetes care strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Salary up to $165,000 based on experience.
