Job Description:
This position provides hands-on training in electrical design. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and work well with a team and independently. This role involves learning and implementing electrical system basics, producing detailed layouts, assisting in assembling drawings, data collection, and working on project development.
Job Functions:
Learn and implement electrical system basics such as power distribution, lighting & controls, fire alarm systems
Produce detailed layout and equipment details of electrical systems
Assist in assembling organized sets of drawings
May assist in data collection and field verification
Work with designers and engineers to develop project aspects
Requirements:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, preferably a sophomore or junior
Strong interest in Building Systems Electrical Engineering
AutoCAD and REVIT experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to work full time in Cincinnati, OH office throughout the co-op term
Ability to travel locally for job site inspections, field work, etc.
