Role Description


This position is responsible for managing sanitation route settlement functions for the Operations department.

Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive experience and build strong relationships with the Operations department.
  • Ensure timely resolution or escalation, communicating promptly on progress and handling questions/issues with a professional attitude.
  • Verify compliance of USS policies in sanitation route settlement functions.
  • Review and audit all driver manifest, route and application submissions.
  • Posting of all services performed into application software on a daily basis.
  • Provide daily reports to the field of all missing/open route work.
  • Inquire on incomplete or unclear tickets provided and review all reported issues/inconsistences and correct as needed.
  • Electronically file reports sent in for processing and correspond with the field personnel to ensure all locations are able to be cleared.
  • Work with Operations team in researching questionable invoices, service documentation, proof of service(s) rendered, audit of site checks and/or system errors.
  • Receive, review, document and respond to all incoming requests for system research on accounts.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents (i.e.: vendor contracts; excel spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Ability to edit reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, vendors, and other employees.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to calculate rates, discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, etc.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; analytical, process oriented and ability to focus on details for long periods of time.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Well-developed clerical skills including email /file maintenance.
  • Strong commitment to customer service.
  • Demonstrates ability and desire to learn
  • Corporate specific applications, technology and terminology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and office administration experience.
  • Working knowledge of operating office equipment including copy machine, phone system, etc.

Physical Requirements

  • Sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls. Repeat the same movements.

  • Speak clearly so customers can understand.

  • Be able to walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion.
  • Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling.
  • Lift up to 40lbs from your waits to your shoulders.
  • Lift 30lbs from the floor to your head.
  • Crouch and squat.
  • Push 100lbs and pull 100lbs horizontally.

Salary Range:
$18.00 $36.00 / hour

At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
