Logistics Specialist

EFI is looking for a Logistics/Shipping Specialist to join our Inkjet Solutions Business Unit in our Ypsilanti, MI office.

Job Description:The Logistics/Shipping Specialist is responsible for executing load assignments to meet customer requirements for on-time, safe, damage-free delivery of freight, in a cost-effective and timely manner.Will primarily be generating Shipping Paperwork for FedEx / UPS, LTL (Less Than Truckload), Domestic, and International Freight.

Main duties and responsibilities

•Work Closely with the Shipping Office Team to provide accurate daily shipments in a fluid and steady paced environment.

•Prepare BOL, special labeling, export and import documents as required.

•Coordinate and consolidate shipments for RMAs, and customer-based orders.

•Keep up on certifications and classes for DOT, IATA, and IMO regulations (can train).

•Ability to maintain daily schedules and update shipping requirement reports.

•File AES documentation with Government and Related Customs Paperwork for International Shipments.

Job Requirements:

•3 years administrative and or customer service experience preferred.

•The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and accuracy skills.

•Be self-motivated, able to work independently, and manage time effectively.

•Ability to compile and analyze data, trends, and reports.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook

•Experience with SAP, Agile, and Salesforce.com is a plus

•Able to work overtime when required but works on a team that is flexible and has staggered staff to cover the General Shipping Hours of 7AM to 6PM. Some schedules 7AM to 3:30PM / 8AM - 4:30PM / 9AM - 5:30PM...so there is flexibility on the team.
