Logistics Specialist

The Logistics/Shipping Specialist is responsible for executing load assignments to meet customer requirements for on-time, safe, damage-free delivery of freight, in a cost-effective and timely manner. Will primarily be generating Shipping Paperwork for FedEx / UPS, LTL (Less Than Truckload), Domestic, and International Freight.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Shipping Office Team to provide accurate daily shipments in a fluid and steady paced environment.
Prepare BOL, special labeling, export and import documents as required.
Coordinate and consolidate shipments for RMAs, and customer-based orders.
Keep up on certifications and classes for DOT, IATA, and IMO regulations (can train).
Ability to maintain daily schedules and update shipping requirement reports.
File AES documentation with Government and Related Customs Paperwork for International Shipments.

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years administrative and or customer service experience, possess strong organizational and accuracy skills, and be able to compile and analyze data, trends, and reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook and experience with SAP, Agile, and Salesforce.com is a plus
