•Attend and participate in Internal Audit Plan preparations.

•Study an apply an understanding of internal audit standards, policies and procedures, and regulations, including the Federal Reserve, FINRA, SEC and Florida OFR

•Plan, organize and conduct the internal audit analyst function, including the preparation, execution and conclusion of work papers which fulfils the responsibility of the department with the support of Internal Auditors and Audit Specialists.

•Support operational and compliance audit projects related to different business units and divisions, including performance of tests, presentation of audit issues to the business and the drafting of audit issues and reports.

•Review and report on the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial and other information that is provided from management.

•Support the Internal Auditors and Management in periodic follow-up, to ensure that issues from the Federal Reserve, external and internal consultants, as well as other regulatory bodies are being satisfied.

•Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act related principles, laws, rules, and regulations, as well as Itau's related policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Engineering.

•2 + years of experience as an auditor (internal or external auditor) preferred OR 2 + years of experience in either the Financial Services industry, Internal Controls, Risk Management, or related areas.

•Knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques, test, and sampling methods involved in conducting audits.

•Knowledge of US banking/financial regulations

•Knowledge of accounting and audit record keeping systems

•Microsoft Office and Data Analytics mindset.

•Informed of developments related to business matters of interest to internal audit, particularly legislation changes as they impact the business and new auditing techniques and practices.

•Detail-oriented and initiative-taker with flexibility to work in a fast-changing, multicultural environment, with ambiguous situations.

•Excellent communication, organization, critical-thinking and skepticism skills.

•Fluency in English. Written and verbal communication in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.

•Knowledge of Data Analytics tools and techniques preferred.

•Flexible and able to travel when needed (no more than 20%)

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid work environment, with minimum of 2 day/week at the office based in Miami

Relocation costs not covered by the company.
