Regional Chain Manager - AZ/NV/NM

Regional Chains Manager, AZ/NM/NV

The following position is open in Phoenix, AZ, United States.

• Responsible for managing chains in an important division of our business.
• Gain experience calling on the headquarters for National and FDS accounts and being the liaison for National programming with our corporate NAMs
• This position includes working closely with distributors, national accounts, brand marketing teams, and national sponsorships

Role Responsibilities

• Call on designated number of National & Regional Chain Accounts in the Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico market with responsibility for growing sales and share while expanding on shelf & floor presence and maintaining Beam Suntory merchandising standards
• Will be tasked with developing and owning relationships with key regional chains; implement programs consistent with NAHQ standards
• Regional Chain responsibilities include: Frys, Albertsons/Safeway, Bashas, CVS, Walgreens, Total Wine, Costco, and Walmart.
• Will need to work closely with local sales team, customer marketing, category management and consumer insights teams to bring new value and services to regional chain accounts
• Charged with expanding distribution/volume on priority brands/sizes. Successfully launch all new products while achieving volume and distribution KPI's as set out by corporate management. Leverage and create relevant programming around local sponsorships.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly meetings with key account buyers to present programming/innovation
• Work with Territory Manager, State Manager and the National Account Managers at BSI to ensure effective communication of all National Account and FDS Programming to the distributor and strong execution accordingly in market
• Participate in monthly reviews with Territory Manager and State Manager to identify any issues/concerns that can be improved upon with future programs and to call out successful business practices that we can expand upon moving forward.
• Monitor distributor execution weekly/monthly and address all shortfalls when they occur with corrective actions plans.
• Conduct quarterly sales blitz's with distributor focusing on key holiday's that align to our weeks to win strategy
• Responsible for conducting monthly CPR's on Chain accounts and monitoring weekly ad &feature activity within the Chains to ensure Beam Suntory is getting our fair share of the business
• Actively manage the presentation and execution of category plans, brand plans, promotions and new item introductions ensuring compliance with Brand Standards at all times.
• Provide monthly sales training and communication, to distributor sales force in areas of brand trend awareness and sales technique.
• Ensure all efforts and sales involvement is in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Develop relevant programming to leverage sponsorships that will drive sales and share growth i.e. Bringing creative ideas on how to bring our strategic brand partnerships to life in retail.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous Off Premise spirits industry experience.
• Proficient with Nielsen/IRI, with the ability to read, understand and write analysis/action plans based on off the information.
• Thorough knowledge of distribution, promotion and selling techniques.
• Sales experience, including experience selling promotion and marketing programs.
• MS Office Suite.
• Previous distributor experience preferred but not necessary.
• Licensed driver of motor vehicles.
• Ability for intermittent travel.
