Responsibilities Serve as the Instrumentation Integration Analyst for the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability (JPMRC) Instrumentation System (IS). Responsible for the operation of the Instrumentation System and its support of an exercise rotation. Perform duties pertaining to the coordination of all aspects of instrumentation and communications. Prepare and briefs the JPMRC command and other leaders on the JPMRC Instrumentation System and ongoing integration efforts. Provide guidance and assistance with respect to IS operations as necessary for the Instrumentation Training Analysis Computer Simulations and Support (ITACSS) organization. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reading and translating technical drawings; preparing reports and briefings with engineering terms embedded using MS Office; communicating technical information to illustrate advantages or disadvantages of a particular course of action; and experience with Combat Training Center Methodologies including Instrumentation Data Collection Networks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). In the event of a deployment, the employee must continue to perform assigned duties to support the mission requirements until relieved by proper authority, or the mission is complete. The employee may be required to live and work in tents or shelters while on deployment.
