AMCS Group is currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager you will be helping our customers to optimally navigate platform onboarding and configure our platform while ensuring they receive maximum value from our solution throughout their lifecycle. This is a customer facing role that requires strong, communication skills.

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to work with an innovative technology that is establishing a better way for utility companies to track, monitor, maintain, and operate their assets - on premise, cloud or hybrid environment.

About the Role… Responsible for understanding customer requirements, implementing and on-boarding new customers, conducting product training, driving adoption and ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems applications and industry requirements. Synthesizes customer data and solutions needs. Generates and analyzes customer workflows, reports, etc. Participates in internal and external solutions reviews. Writes technical documents and responses. Evaluates, analyzes, documents requirements, and translates into proper system requirement specifications and configuration. Evaluates and translates end user needs and problems to Solution Engineering teams. Teaches end users about our technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools as well as providing support for existing system.

About You… Your background will be grounded in industry; a current or former employee from a water, gas, or electric utility or someone who has held a customer facing role deploying or supporting software for utility companies. You will be a competent and credible speaker, comfortable presenting both the technical and business value to a wide and mixed- discipline audience; from Superintendent-level through to field workers. You will know when to challenge and when to listen, you will be a skilled communicator. Your role will often see you driving thought, leading the strategy with a prospect or customer in areas they may be unfamiliar with. Confidence and empathy are required in equal measure to ensure the engagement is a productive and thoughtful one.
