Digital Workplace Engineer Contract to Hire | Hybrid NYC

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and implement solutions for device enrollment, endpoint mgmt., policy configuration, & app deployment using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Management. Provide Tier 2 support in a Microsoft Windows environment running M365 and Intune. Oversee the stability, design, and best practice of the endpoint management environment. Implement the overarching Digital Workplace strategy focused on enhancing the technology experiences for our employees and clients. Partner with Workplace Operations to ensure that customer feedback on user experience and technical implementations is under a continuous improvement strategy. Engineer Digital Workplace solutions that are client-focused based on experiences and ease of use. Oversight/coordination/governance of monthly run activities including but not limited to software deployment, packaging. vulnerability management, and all other aspects of associate engagement. Ensure transition or implementation timelines and milestones are met with minimal disruption to business. Establish performance metrics gathering standards to ensure vendor performance is closely monitored and evaluated. Developing automation and scripts using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages. Lead the triage and management of Group Policies applied to workstations. Desktop Image Management and Provisioning.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Comply with all regulations pertaining to BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT, and OFAC.

Complete annual BSA training. Report suspicions of criminal activity, or any attempt to avoid BSA reporting requirements on the part of customers or employees, to the AML/BSA Compliance Department. For supervisory positions, ensure BSA training requirements are completed by staff. Work with leadership to transform the firm from a traditional Workplace to a highly successful, best in class Digital Workplace. Documenting and communicating roadmaps and standards as well as serving as the focal point for all related matters and technology.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA): 5 to 10+ years of proven professional experience and expertise managing end user compute environments for large financial institutions.

5 to 10+ years supporting complex end user compute environments, focused on delivering Digital Workplace excellence and optimization. The ideal candidate is a current leader or senior practitioner in Client Engineering or Workplace Technology for financial firms or managed service providers. Experience in banking industry would be beneficial but not required. Experience with Autopilot for device provisioning. Experience managing and supporting MacOS environments with Intune. Windows Group Policy management, the core concepts of AD hierarchy, user and computer policies, and best practices.

Certifications in Microsoft 365: Enterprise Administrator Expert\Modern Desktop Administrator\Security Administrator Preferred:

Bachelor's degree

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: Preferred:

ITIL certification

WORK SCHEDULE: 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Additional hours as needed to meet deadlines or service outages
