The MGO will be responsible for the full lifecycle of fundraising for major gifts of $10k and above primarily from individuals, with some family foundations as well. The role will manage a portfolio of major donors, with the assistance of a prospect research team. There will be a significant focus on cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of existing and new donors. In addition, the position will collaborate with regional leadership to maximize resources and drive revenue. The MGO will be joining a relatively new major gifts effort that will provide tremendous growth potential, and the chance to assist with designing and implementing best practices. Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of securing major gifts, coupled with strong relationship building skills. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $135,000 per year, based on many factors including experience and location. There is also bonus potential based on organization and individual performance.
