Clinical Training/Education Specialist Atlanta, GA Apply View All Jobs Share This Job Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: The Clinical Specialist position will support the clients device used for redefining vascular closure. The device is engineered for EP (electrophysiology) and large bore procedures. This is a PRN/1099 role. The Clinical Specialist will do on-site support for placement and removal of device. The Clinical Specialist will proctor physicians, OR staff and recovery staff on the use of the compression device. Additionally, you are responsible for any follow-up, device support, troubleshooting, customer service and education as required. ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Travel to hospitals/clinical facilities to support device introduction, training, and/or implementation. Work closely with physicians, OR staff and recovery staff to facilitate an exceptional clinical experience. Play an instrumental role in organizational development by promoting a progressive approach to the management of patients. Assess learning needs, conduct training programs and provide individualized teaching to clinical staff, making sure product is deployed in proper location and removed in recovery room. Demonstrate initiative and a level of expertise in use of the device to serve as a resource to physicians and staff Establish standards of practice in the use of the device to ensure exceptional care and user compliance. Skills & Requirements QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent - desired Strong clinical and industry background with an in-depth understanding of vascular closure/compression device - required Cardiac Interventions/EP lab background desired Advanced clinical expertise Teaching and technical device training education experience Autonomous, able to complete goals with minimal supervision. Must be organized, self-motivated and possess integrity, initiative, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good documentation practices and analytical skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Must have a reliable car to drive to and from In-service locations if local assignment, or able to travel for assignments. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
