The incumbent is primarily responsible for conducting quality checks of both Organ and Tissue Electronic Donor Records to assess compliance with STA’s policies and procedures, government guidelines, and laws. JOB REQUIREMENTS Associates degree in health sciences or equivalent work experience required. Three years of experience in a medical records or quality assurance role preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records/procedures required. Knowledge of organ and tissue procurement and/or transplantation preferred. Experience with Q-Pulse and iTransplant preferred. Exceptional attention to detail. Must demonstrate effective analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills. Excellent communication skills required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, internal, and external customers. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required. Ability to cope with high levels of stress and handle a heavy workload. Participates in internal and process audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with STA’s policies and procedures, as well as AATB, AOPO, CMS, FDA, OPTN, and state and federal laws as needed.
