REMOTE . In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Work as a subject matter expert to represent the Sales organization’s to acquire new franchise clients from internal or external sources. Coordinate with Sales and Business Heads to develop and agree on targets (segment, client, product etc) for prospective clients. Establish self as an advisor and facilitate access and connectivity to the client c-suite, including likely future successors. Execute on new business that supports our client strategy and targets and aligns with our control environment, including management of our client pipeline. Through partnership with and assisting experienced peers, works with prospects on their strategic vision and uses an understanding of the firm’s solutions and value proposition to help them achieve that vision. Work closely with related teams (RMs, AMs, CSD) and other firm-wide resources (marketing, legal, compliance, etc.) to ensure all risk management/compliance activities relevant to business development activities are conducted and captured. Serves in a consultative role to prospects, advising on the best way to achieve their short- and long- term strategic objectives through the firm’s solutions. Support the Proposal & RFP bidding processes. Attend industry events, seminars etc., to deepen and broaden knowledge and expertise on industry trends and the competitive landscape. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of sales experience preferred. Well-versed in the financial services industry and detailed insight into clients’ businesses. A self-starter who takes ownership and accountability with urgency. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. Collaborative, team-oriented, service-oriented, and with a drive to win business while mitigating risk. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
