Warranty Manager

The Warranty Manager is responsible for obtaining warranty consideration on all appropriate repairs of company tractors and trailers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervises Warranty Administrator on a day-to-day basis
• Reviews all invoices and repair orders. Creates claims based on review information
• Coordinates and keys claims data into electronic format to transmit to vendors
• Coordinates and corresponds with non-electronic vendor reps on a monthly basis to create and submit claims
• Monitors and tracks all accepted, rejected and denied claims with explanations for each
• Handles all parts return requests from vendor - distributes to field
• Handles all scrap parts requests from all vendors - distributes to field
• Reviews and maintains all vendor bulletins, scan and post to the maintenance drive
• Maintains and provides a listing of parts provided by vendors or suppliers free of charge
• Maintains warranty claim spreadsheets for all claims
• Verifies and documents all incoming checks from vendors
• Handles all vendor recalls to ensure fleet integrity

Requirements:

• BA / BS degree desired
• At least 2-5 years similar experience in transportation industry
• Computer applications using MS Office
• Understanding of mechanical interactions of various truck parts
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer.
