Job Description:
  • The client is seeking an individual who has experience assessing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on a statewide ITIL compliant Asset Management program.
  • Specific attention and expertise with inventory management for an Enterprise workstation environment to include workstations, mobile devices, printers, software, and other various end user asset tracking.
  • Experience with policy, process, and procedures preferred. The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensuring that all processes adhere to governance standards and are optimized for efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing IT asset management processes within the client.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the client to collect process-related data and insights.
  • Identify areas of inefficiency, bottlenecks, and compliance risks.
  • Document the client specific ITAM processes, including workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process maps.
  • Provide training and knowledge sharing to the client internal staff on optimized processes and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in IT Asset Management, particularly in workstations, mobile devices, printers, software, and other various end user asset tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of ITAM best practices, ITIL principles, and the client governance.

Required:
  • Experience in business process engineering, IT process improvement, or related roles, preferably in a government or large organizational context.
  • Experience in IT Asset Management, particularly in workstations, mobile devices, printers, software, and other various end user asset tracking
  • Experience collaborating and interfacing with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Ability to produce various forms of documentation such as processes, workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and process maps
  • Knowledge of reporting tools (ie. PowerBI), data analysis, and process monitoring.
  • ITIL v4 Foundations
