The Role:
We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our fast-paced and exciting team. In this role, you will actively source products by visiting retail stores, building relationships with store managers, and negotiating the best deals. You'll play a key role in driving the success of our e-commerce operations by sourcing high-demand products, managing logistics, and ensuring timely inventory turnover. This position requires a mix of in-store presence, relationship-building, negotiation, and analytical skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Product Sourcing: Visit retail stores regularly to identify products with high potential, utilizing ongoing sales, promotions, and clearance events.
  • Market Awareness: Stay ahead of the competition by tracking upcoming sales and securing the best deals before they're gone.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with store managers to gain access to insider deals and exclusive promotions.
  • Negotiation: Use your negotiation skills to secure bulk discounts and favorable terms that align with company profitability goals.
  • E-Commerce Analysis: Use tools like Amazon Seller Central and ScanPower to assess the profitability of potential products.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee the transportation of products to our warehouses, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Expense & Performance Tracking: Monitor expenses, sales performance, and inventory levels to ensure profitability and make necessary adjustments.
  • Risk Management: Evaluate deals for potential risks, including counterfeit goods and demand fluctuations.
Reporting: Keep the team updated with daily reports on purchases, deals, and savings.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:
  • Retail or Sales Experience: Proven success in retail or product sourcing, with strong negotiation skills.
  • Driving Ability: Must be able to drive a cargo van (Promaster or similar) for transporting products.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to build relationships with store managers, suppliers, and collaborate with internal teams.
  • E-Commerce Knowledge: Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data and identify the most profitable products to purchase.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with both local and international teams.
