Job Description
As a CNC Swiss Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Swiss Style CNC machines. Your primary tasks will include inserting tools into machines, setting tool positions, adjusting tool offsets, replacing inserts and tools, prepping bars and bar ends, and loading bars into the loader. Additionally, you will read and interpret blueprints, focusing on dimensional sizes and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. You will complete necessary paperwork for the manufacturing process, perform product inspections to drawings and standards, and use and care for inspection gauges, fixtures, and equipment. Secondary operations such as part cleaning and deburring will also be part of your responsibilities, along with moving finished products to designated areas, effectively managing your time to maximize production, following safe work practices, keeping the work area clean and organized, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in York, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
Work in a clean, climate-controlled environment within a toolroom area that houses manual machines, a wire EDM machine, and various tools. The shop area is dedicated to metal stamping, is clean and climate controlled. Note: The noise level can be high due to the stamping presses. The dress code includes clean jeans or work pants, composite safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear protection.
