Description
Main Frame Lead

10+ years of Experience in software development in mainframe languages (COBOL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM)

Designing and defining the overall structure of the Platform.

Good understanding of product needs and features, implement accordingly on designing the architecture.

Design and develop highly scalable, reliable and fault tolerant systems.

Building and managing automated build/test/deployment environments

Constantly striving to improve software development process and team productivity.

Hands-on with key development technologies

Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and work on user stories/ backlog items and deliver same with highest quality

Attend stand-up meetings and provide updates.

Develop solutions and POC's based on customer and project needs.

Provide support to delivery for technical issues, escalations, and reviews and to help in deploying in a customer environment.

Create documentation of operational tasks, procedures and automated processes.

Fix faults and restore the operability or carry out suitable measures.

Demonstrated ability to create system architecture diagrams and documentation for review by both technical and non-technical audiences.

Demonstrated skills in exercising initiative, good judgment, and making sound technical decisions.

Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to propose and assess the appropriateness and quality of solutions for moderate to complex solutions.

Skilled in leading, guiding, mentoring, and influencing design and architectural discussions.

Manage development teams.

Share Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly project updates.

Education: Bachelors Degree
