The Jay Odom Group LLC is seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our team at Odom Hotels. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. Your role includes handling guest registrations, reservations, and revenue collections while maintaining a safe and secure environment. You will anticipate guest needs, exceed expectations, and implement creative solutions to enhance their stay.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform front desk functions including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and answering telephone calls.
  • Display a positive, upbeat attitude and provide friendly, attentive service to all guests.
  • Provide information about the hotel, facilities, and local area attractions.
  • Be familiar with property security, key control procedures, and fire safety protocols.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for front desk operations.
  • Assist the Assistant General Manager or General Manager with various tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal, comprehension, listening, and critical thinking skills.
  • Adaptability and ability to handle guest relations with a positive attitude.
  • Basic report and accounting skills.
  • Strong guest relation skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands or fingers, and feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to lift boxes (up to 15 pounds).
  • Vision abilities required include close vision to a computer screen.
  • Ability to talk and hear clearly to communicate with guests and team members.

Schedule:
  • Multiple shifts available, including Night Audit (11pm-7am) and AM/PM shifts.
  • Night Audit shifts pay $1-$2 more per hour than AM/PM shifts.
  • AM/PM shifts require open availability for both day and night shifts.
  • Night Audit is an overnight shift only.
