You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patient care meets the highest standards. This position provides the opportunity to mentor and guide nursing staff while playing a critical role in patient care coordination.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the daily operations of the nursing staff within a specific department or shiftEnsure adherence to all facility policies and procedures, promoting compliance with federal and state regulationsSupervise, guide, and mentor nursing staff, providing leadership and fostering teamworkCoordinate patient care by collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to meet patients' needsAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients' responses and adjusting care plans as neededLead communication efforts with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding patient care and treatment progressEvaluate nursing performance and provide constructive feedback and development opportunitiesParticipate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives to continuously enhance patient outcomesEnsure proper documentation of patient care and update patient records as requiredHandle emergencies and provide direct patient care as neededQualifications:Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of DelawareProven experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferredStrong clinical skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient careExceptional communication and interpersonal abilitiesA collaborative mindset with strong leadership skills to inspire and guide a teamAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes high-stress environmentSolid understanding of regulatory standards in healthcare and nursing best practicesWhy Join Delaware Bay Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center?At Delaware Bay, we are more than healthcare providers-we're a family that values compassion, innovation, and excellence in patient care.
