Experiences that include the world's most moving water features, from The Fountains of Bellagio to The Dubai Fountain.SUMMARYThe Sr. Layout Welder is able to interact with all Production teammates and who can do their own fixturing and setup their own processes completely independently. All welders need to be extremely fast paced, self-motivated, team players who can keep their area clean and organized, can TIG and MIG stainless steel safely, proficiently and quicklyThis role will be working heavily on the electrical enclosures, specifically the doors and panels along with finish grinding the weldments. This mostly requires MIG welding 14ga CRS, stud welding, and doing cosmetic post weld grinding and material handling. They will also help with other welding needs as capacity allows/requires.THE CORE OF THE POSITION:TIG welding stainless steel componentsExperienced with cosmetic grinding of Sheetmetal panelsMIG welding mild steel SheetmetalAble to follow written and verbal instructionEnsure quality of work, check own work and work of others in departmentSelf-starter, highly motivated working in a fast-paced departmentRegularly handle electrical panel frames and door weldments in excess of 65lbsExperience with band saws, circular saws, grinders, and other fabrication equipmentMaterial handling of raw goods and finished weldmentsQUALIFICATIONS:10+ years of Welding experience with Welding Layout's 10+ years of TIG Welding8+ years of MIG weldingAble to read blue prints and drawings ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to lift at least 65+ lbs.Stand 8+ hours per dayMust be willing to work overtime and weekends as neededWET is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with WET is governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.
