Director of Human Resources Contractor

for a

long-term Hybrid assignment

with our prestigious client in Wilmington, DE.

Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive support to the existing Human Resource Director, leveraging expertise in leading HR operations for large organizations with over 1500 employees. Assist in developing and implementing effective HR strategies, working closely with the HR Director to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Support compliance efforts by staying informed of relevant employment laws and regulations and assisting in maintaining legal compliance. Contribute to recruitment efforts and assist in managing employee relations, performance plans, engagement, and development initiatives. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand HR needs and assist in aligning HR initiatives with broader business objectives. Offer guidance and assistance to senior management on HR matters, leveraging expertise to address challenges and opportunities as they arise. Aid in data analysis to generate insights and assist in reporting on HR metrics, facilitating informed decision-making processes. Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to support the HR Director in driving initiatives and achieving desired outcomes.

Requirements: 10 years plus experience as a Human Resource Director in large multi-location organizations. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Master's degree a plus Demonstrated proficiency in developing HR strategies and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Strong employee relations, performance management, engagement, and development expertise. Ability and commitment to work 48 hours per week. Ability to collaborate effectively and align HR initiatives with business goals. Skilled in providing guidance to senior management and supporting HR projects. Proficiency in data analysis and HR metrics for informed decision-making. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
