The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a seasoned Water Resources Engineer (Professional Engineer - P.E.) to join our team in Billings, Montana. In this role, you will provide expert technical guidance for various water-related projects. Your extensive experience as a licensed engineer will be crucial in addressing water resource challenges. This role offers exciting opportunities for collaboration on diverse projects within Minnesota, Montana, and Wyoming.
Your Impact: Utilize your Professional Engineer (P.E.) license to oversee water resources engineering projects.
Provide technical expertise for water supply, stormwater management, large irrigation systems, hydrology, and environmental permitting.
Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations. Lead the planning and management of water supply to meet environmental standards.
Contribute to the development of advanced technologies for pollution control and water resource management. Independently lead and execute projects, ensuring compliance and technical accuracy.
Prepare high-quality reports, visualizations, and presentations for effective communication. Lead and mentor a talented group of engineers within the firm.
Who You Are: Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, focusing on Water Resources or a related discipline.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.5+ years of post-licensure experience in water resources engineering. Knowledge of water resource engineering principles, laws, and regulations.
Proficiency in stormwater management, drainage, irrigation, hydrology, and related areas.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
