Experience A minimum of eight years of Corrosion Control or Integrity related experience is required. A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology, or technical discipline related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree is required. Required Skills Must be able to lead, supervise and train a small group of employees. Certification or specialized training in Corrosion Control is required. Must exhibit a thorough knowledge of regulations and industry practices. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication. Advanced reading and writing skills, with the ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations. Will supervise the work of a group of nonexempt corrosion technicians and exempt Corrosion Specialist. Responsible for managing contractors as needed. Work Conditions Office based with up to 25% travel by land and air required. Out-of-doors environment and driver based environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, working in confined spaces, and exposure to the risk of electrical shock. Subject to all temperatures, weather, and varying road conditions. Physical Requirements Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs, ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates, perceiving color differences, and wearing personal protective equipment (beards not permitted). Job conditions may require twisting stooping, crouching, kneeling, pushing and/or pulling up to 50lbs, climbing up to 50ft, and strenuous physical activity.
