-             Loan Officer or Mortgage Specialist

-             Back Office Operations Associate at a Brokerage and/or Investment Corporation

-             Paraplanner or Financial Planning Assistant

-             Client Service Associate in a Wealth Management (or similar) Firm

-             Trust Officer Assistant or Estate Planning Paralegal

-             Accounting or Tax Preparation Roles

-             Compliance Associate in Financial Services

-             Mutual Fund, Annuity, or ETF Wholesaler’s Office Support

-             Financial Aid Officer or Student Loan Counselor

-             …and other similar careers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial plan, PowerPoint and supporting materials for all client meetings. Meet with new and existing clients alongside a Lead or Senior Financial Adviser
  • Take ownership and responsibility for client follow-up items or homework resulting from client meetings.
  • Act as a resource to existing clients and respond to questions about their financial plan and investment portfolio.
  • Conduct periodic touch-base calls with clients.
  • Conduct occasional meetings with clients to sign paperwork.
  • Setup and service of new and existing 401(k) plans
  • Conduct 401(k) enrollment meetings and education of plan participants
  • Interest in continued education and personal development.
  • Willingness to author occasional educational articles on as-needed basis.
  • Periodic attendance and assistance at both client and company after-hours events (roughly 6-10 times per year).

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Willingness to start as a customer service associate, understanding that the career path would evolve into a Lead Financial Adviser within 2-3 years.
  • Willingness to sit for (and pass) the Series 65 exam within the first six months.
  • Willingness to take the CFP® exam within 2-3 years
  • Strong computer skills -- comfortable with Apple environments
  • Organizational skills and willingness to learn and use new technology
  • Highly social individual with ability to develop client relationships
  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible, willing to adapt to change over time.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary $55 – 65,000, commensurate with experience
