Description TPG Pediatrics is looking for a FULL TIME Front Desk Administrative Clerk with 2 to 3 years of medical receptionist experience to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.We are a large pediatric practice in Northern Virginia dedicated to excellent patient care. TPG prides itself on providing work-life balance and an opportunity for growth for all of it's employees. 2 to 3 years of experience is highly preferred but we are willing to train the right person. Employee safety is a priority at TPG. We have daily cleaning procedures in place and provide PPE for all employees. Daytime weekday schedule between 7:10 and 5:30pm. Once per month rotation in our Saturday clinic in Alexandria (8am-1pm). Hourly wage differentials are paid for our Saturday morning clinics. Our Pediatric offices offer excellent benefits such as: PTO; 401k; Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, Paid Holidays and employee events. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides a welcoming, professional greeting to patients and other visitors. Answers a high volume of calls in a courteous and professional manner. Works as part of the team using scheduling matrix to schedule patient appointments. Collection of copayments and patient due balances. Also collects insurance information EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND CREDENTIALS: High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred) 2 to 3 years experience in medical reception is highly preferred but willing to train the right person. 1 year experience in customer service is preferred Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) experience is desirable SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to multitask. Great customer service skills. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written communication.
