HOURS
- On call position to help with call offs, vacations, additional work throughout the Jackson Area
- Monday through Sundays hours vary from as early as 6:00AM to as late as 9:00PM
- $14.00/Hour
- On call position to help with call offs, vacations, additional work throughout the Jackson Area
- This is a rest area attendant position
- Emptying trash containers, taking trash outside to dumpster areas
- Dusting, spot cleaning, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning windows, polishing surfaces
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms; cleaning toilets, sinks, floors, plunging toilets, etc.,
- Snow and ice removal from sidewalks - will be using snow blowers, shovels, salt and other snow tools
- Weeding and watering flower beds
- Picking up litter on the property
- Sanitizing surfaces such as telephones and drinking fountains
- Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
- Other duties as assigned
- Previous experience in janitorial or related field preferred but willing to train the right individual
- Ability to carry out detailed oral or written instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers
- Disposition to perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to stand/walk for entire length of your shift
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Occasionally push and pull wheeled carts loaded with products up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to shovel and use snow blower in winter
