Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and clean floors in gaming areas, restrooms, office space, hallways, stairs, food areas, event/bingo hall, break areas, shops, and other designated areas.
  • Empty and clean ashtrays and maintain a smoke-free environment.
  • Clean and maintain restrooms, restock supplies as needed, and ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean windows and mirrors to maintain a sparkling clean appearance.
  • Clean debris from sidewalks and casino entrance areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Empty trash receptacles and recycle receptacles to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Deliver and change 5-gallon water bottles to ensure a clean and refreshing environment.
  • Perform bio-hazard clean-ups and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Remove gum from carpets, tile, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Perform regular carpet maintenance for spills and tears to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean and maintain elevators and escalators to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Report any safety concerns to your supervisor immediately.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with at least one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.80 per hour, with a shift differential of $1.00 per hour for non-exempt employees working between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. This is not a smoke-free workplace, although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems.
