RESPONSIBILITIES

In collaboration with the Director of Manufacturing and the Director of Construction, the Senior Quality Control and Assurance (QA/QC) manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and supervising the QA/QC program for Agorus.

45% QC / QA Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and improve Agorus QA/QC procedures.
  • Take input from Dir of MFG & Dir of CNS & VP-Product (stakeholders) to build plan from ground up and implement organization wide

45% Non-Conformance Reporting

  • Lead root cause analysis of all non-conformance reports
  • Mentor others in NCR reporting and root cause best practices
  • Identify opportunities and give feedback to executive team on NCR / Root Cause trends and recommend actions in accordance

10% Training & Oversight

  • Mentor, develop, train QA/QC personnel
  • Embrace Agorus culture of teamwork
  • Liaise with outside entities on best QA/QC practices

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 or more years of experience in QA/QC management.
  • Experience with state level manufactured housing licensing QA/QC requirements preferred but not required.
  • Outstanding knowledge of QA/QC standards and practices in the construction industry.
  • Ability to investigate/analyze critical situations professionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to positively influence behaviors.
  • Proficiency with standard office software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively convey ideas to audiences, large and small.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to deliver results and strengthen the QA/QC culture.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and coordinate multiple activities that are moderately to highly complex across multiple departments

ONBOARDING ROADMAP

First 30 Days

  • Meet and get to know the team
  • Understand Agorus’ current processes
  • Training for Microsoft Teams
  • Understand Agorus current QA/QC methodology and identify gaps, areas of improvement, and areas that require no action. Begin developing plan to address and take stakeholder input towards that end
  • Understand Agorus NCR tool (ONE Source) and provide feedback to software team on that tool and what else may be required

First 60 Days

  • Apply your skills and technical knowledge
  • Deep dive into Agorus' product roadmap and strategy to fully grasp our mission and vision
  • Publish roadmap for Agorus QA/QC and begin executing on prioritized efforts
  • Take formal ownership of QA/QC employees and their mentorship
  • Take formal ownership of NCR & Root Cause processes
  • Identify any additional hires that may be needed organization wide

First 90 Days

  • Build out SOPs
  • Conduct root cause analysis and NCR's steady-state. Provide reporting to executives on trends across NCRs.
  • Continue executing on QA/QC roadmap
  • Execute on hiring plan
