Lean Continuous Improvement Black Belt Senior Manager Ultradent, a global name in oral health, is seeking a highly motivated , experienced and talented Lean Continuous Improvement Black Belt Director to be responsible for the overall strategy, direction and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business units . Drive , mentor and/or support CI initiatives , CI Teams and advance the global Lean Six Sigma implementation strategy. The Lean Continuous Improvement Black Belt Director is a very important and influential leadership position within Ultradent, and will be responsible for the following: + Continue the momentum of progress made in the execution of the global CI-Lean Six Sigma implementation strategy to establish and drive a balance of data-driven and people culture of continuous improvement utilizing LSS principles + Work with all levels of management to identify CI and LSS initiatives to support business objectives + Assist in developing, maintaining and improving training materials and coordinate training efforts + Create, track , and drive KPIs for Continuous Improvement results + Lead , facilitate and influence CI-Lean Six Sigma teams working on cross-functional projects + Support and help drive the use of CI-LSS tools throughout all levels of the organization + Lead, develop and mentor a CI core team of individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills (currently a team of 4) + Potentially lead higher level strategic planning sessions WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: + Strong experience in Change Management + Track record of driving improvements through organizations by creating a vision of what “different and better” looks like + Able to negotiate resistance and engage those that are slow to adopt and accelerate process improvements + Flexib ility , creativ ity , and empowering skills are hugely important + Not easily frustrated by lack of buy in but tenacious to solve issues of buy in. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: + Minimum of 10 years full-time CI work, ideally 100+ Kaizen events is ideal + Minimum of 3 years CI Leadership is ideal + Minimum of five years' experience in a manufacturing operation is ideal + Mechanical Engineering background is ideal + Trained and certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt , Master Black Belt preferred + A strong ability to influence others at all levels and cross functionally + Capable of leading and sponsoring a data-oriented environment with an emphasis on statistics, process improvement and data analysis + Strong communication skills + Presentation skills Ultradent is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
