- Supervises the activities performed by the business, including office management, implementation procedures, records management.•Accepts incoming and outgoing calls, maintains accurate messages and disseminates same. Reviews, sorts and delivers mail to the appropriate staff member
- Monitors staff sick calls and assist in coordinating replacement coverage.
- Responsible for the collection and reporting statistics and accounting functions.
- Assist in the Sr. Management in the development and implementation of policies within the office. Develops operating procedures, forms and systems.
- Plans, develops and facilitates changes in procedures, forms and practices, work flows, personnel assignments and equipment.
- Performs personnel administrative tasks including coordinating and participating in the hiring process, coordinating training of new employees and the ongoing training of other employees, resolving employee issues and supervising time and attendance records.
- Responsible for the completion and credential verification of new hires using the electronic application.
- Maintains compliance with human resource and employee health record requirements and reports on compliance levels.
- In collaboration with Sr. Management coordinates staff meetings in order to exchange information and to discuss ways to make the office function more efficiently.
- Prepares written agendas, records minutes, and prepares written summaries of issues and action plans for review by the Sr. management staff.
- Prepares manuals and other materials describing procedures and standards.
- Prepares rehab reports as required by Sr. Management.
- Serves as the point of contact for information concerning activities of the office.
- Performs special projects as required.
- Effectively communicates with staff to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Creates a work atmosphere that promotes cooperation, respect, flexibility and teamwork amongst peers and staff.
- Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when operating equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the program manager as soon as possible.
- Report all unsafe/hazardous conditions to the program manager immediately.
- Maintains an adequate liaison with clients and staff.
- Demonstrates awareness, respect and concern for internal customers (coworkers) and external customers (i.e. patients, residents, families, physicians, referral sources)
- Maintains confidentiality of all resident information to assure resident rights are protected.
- Observes rules, policies and regulations with regard to attendance, punctuality, appearance and professional attitude as established by the organization.
- Due to the nature of the industry, many of our programs offer seven (7) day a week services. Accordingly, you may be asked to work weekends as part of your scheduled workweek
- Conforms to the HIPAA Compliance Program and applicable facility policies for patient privacy.
- Conforms to security policies and procedures.
- Must be able to Sit, Stand, bend, lift and move intermittently throughout the day.
- Must pass Medical and Physical examination based on job qualifications, requirements and duties/responsibilities.
- Must be able to work independently with periodic (daily or less) support and direction.
- Must be able to shift attention and task performance based on priorities.
- Must be able to work in a distractible and stimulating environment.
- Must be able to read, understand, and comply with policy and procedures.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have visual, hearing and sensory skills adequate to preserve patient and personal safety.
