Location: Remote Contract Duration: 1-3 months Contract Type: Independent Contractor / Freelance Overview Augment Life is seeking a temporary Project Manager to lead the setup and implementation of a WhatsApp marketing automation system. This system will send a sequence of personalized messages to customers who have not completed their shopping journey, with the goal of promoting products and free market offers to drive conversions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing marketing technology projects-particularly messaging or SMS-based campaigns-and be comfortable coordinating between technical vendors, marketing teams, and compliance stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Plan and oversee the setup of a WhatsApp-based marketing communication system. Coordinate vendors or tools (such as Twilio, Meta Business API providers, or CRM integrations) to ensure seamless setup and message delivery. Design and document workflows for automated message sequences aimed at re-engaging customers who have not completed purchases. Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align messaging strategy and tone with brand voice. Ensure compliance with WhatsApp and data privacy regulations (e.g., opt-in consent, message limits, timing). Test and optimize the campaign flow before launch, ensuring delivery reliability and engagement tracking. Report progress to Augment Life leadership with clear timelines, milestones, and KPIs. Qualifications Proven project management experience in marketing or technology implementations. Prior experience setting up WhatsApp Business API, chatbot flows, or SMS marketing systems (such as Klaviyo, Attentive, Twilio, or Postscript). Familiarity with CRM and e-commerce systems (Shopify or similar). Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Bonus: Experience with health, wellness, or supplement brands.
