Majestic Steel is excited to add a Supply Chain Analyst to our team The Supply Chain Analyst will play a critical role in overseeing and managing projects related to the supply chain function. They will coordinate with cross-functional teams, optimize processes, and ensure the timely delivery of projects to support organizational goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Lead value add projects, such as: improving finished goods stocking plans, developing and implementing drop cut programs for service centers, and inventory SKU recommendations to eliminate low value, slow moving inventory, among many other projects.
  2. Digitize the supply chain through digital tools such as PowerBI or other software.
  3. Partner with Supply Chain and Steel Investment areas to improve processes, such as forecasting, inventory management, etc...
  4. Assist in managing all Supply Chain and Steel Investment projects.
  5. Assist Contract Management and Procurement areas in timing of steel purchases for contract customers.
  6. Lead supply chain risk management identifying potential risks in the supply chain, assessing their potential impact, and developing contingency plans.
  7. Map out current supply chain processes, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implementing process improvements.
  8. Lead Supply Chain team during the evaluation of ERP upgrades, new systems, and / or implementation, as needed.
  9. Create supply chain sustainability strategies, as needed.
  10. Other job related duties and special projects as assigned.

Education, Training and Experience Requirements
  • Two years of experience in Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • Technologically savvy with experience in MS Office products and Windows-based computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in Supply Chain.
  • Steel or Manufacturing Industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as supply chain management, business analytics or related fields.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical capabilities along with the ability to assist in strategic planning.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to understand Majestic Steel USA's core products and business operations
  • Ability to manage multiple reports and projects with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work with multiple Areas throughout the organization.
  • Highly motivated with the desire to continually learn and expand knowledge base.
Additional
  • Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally and work at an outside location.
