About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Lead value-added projects to improve finished goods stocking plans, develop and implement drop cut programs for service centers, and optimize inventory SKU recommendations to eliminate low-value, slow-moving inventory.
  2. Digital Transformation: Digitize the supply chain through digital tools such as PowerBI or other software to enhance process efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
  3. Process Improvement: Partner with Supply Chain and Steel Investment areas to improve processes, such as forecasting, inventory management, and contract management.
  4. Project Coordination: Assist in managing all Supply Chain and Steel Investment projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  5. Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain, assess their potential impact, and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
  6. Process Mapping: Map out current supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
  7. Technology Evaluation: Lead the Supply Chain team during the evaluation of ERP upgrades, new systems, and implementation, as needed.
  8. Sustainability Strategies: Create supply chain sustainability strategies to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two years of experience in Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Technologically savvy with experience in MS Office products and Windows-based computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Five years of experience in Supply Chain.
  • Industry Experience: Steel or Manufacturing Industry experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as supply chain management, business analytics, or related fields.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Communication and Organization: Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Critical Thinking and Analytical Capabilities: Exceptional critical thinking and analytical capabilities along with the ability to assist in strategic planning.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.
  • Motivation and Adaptability: Highly motivated with the ability to understand Majestic Steel USA's core products and business operations, and the desire to continually learn and expand knowledge base.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to manage multiple reports and projects with limited supervision, and work with multiple areas throughout the organization.
Additional Requirements
  • Flexibility: Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel occasionally and work at an outside location.
