Responsibilities Own a full-cycle sales process from initial outreach to client onboarding Segment a territory of approximately 700+ accounts to strategically target and engage via a multi-channel approach (email, phone, social media, in-person events, etc.) Consult with prospects to identify challenges and issues impacting their CPG business Educate prospects on solutions offered by Hanover's unique products and services, including a.) a fixed-fee annual engagement model, b.) ad hoc productized offerings, and c.) new innovations. Manage a robust pipeline of prospects vis-a-vis a dedicated Business Development Associate working in tandem with you Accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessment Meet challenging monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals Embrace on-going learning and bring a can-do mindset to business building Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred (business, social sciences, education, communications, political science, economics, psychology, public policy preferred) 4-7 years of consultative sales experience working in market research or a related field 2-5+ years of experience selling into the Consumer Packaged Good industry Familiarity with the CPG value chain across branded and private label manufacturers. Natural curiosity Grit - namely the ability to power through challenges with a positive mindset, creativity, and drive Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to teach, tailor, and lead a narrative.
