Job Description

Summary

The Pricing Manager will own the pricing process for both production and service products, which includes a variety of projects to drive strategic customer centered initiatives and process efficiencies. A successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of the North America Cab pricing strategy and processes, and will proactively identify, design, implement, and lead improved uses of data and tools to enhance profitability and empower the commercial team. As part of an agile and dynamic team, the Pricing Manager will have opportunities for broader growth and development through the support of essential pricing activities -- understanding product, material indexes, developing customer relationships, assessing the market, and implementing pricing strategies.

The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong pricing intuition, pragmatic problem-solving approach, and ability to influence team members at different levels of the organization to drive positive outcomes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Leads the development of new analytics, automation, and reporting projects and the improvement of existing approaches to enhance decision making, deliver on strategic pricing priorities, and increase team productivity.
Be an expert on price implementation and organization within Oracle and be responsible for all price uploads and changes within the system.
Utilizes analytical techniques and tools to combine data from multiple sources to evaluate the success of pricing programs and identify revenue enhancement and margin improvement opportunities.
Will work to optimize and automate current pricing process to ensure accuracy, standardization, and on time changes and updates.
Gathers business intelligence from internal and external sources to evaluate changing market trends, strategies, and the effectiveness of pricing actions.
Lead pricing strategy for service part pricing and gather data to understand market pricing and pressure.
Lead and help optimize service order management procedures and service quoting.
Effectively communicates and translates data insights into recommendations for the leadership team.
Communicates process and system changes to the team by translating complex functionality into business relevant language.
Develop and maintain pricing performance dashboards.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance or other relevant field.
5+ years experience working in a complex business (preferably B2B manufacturing) environment with a focus in commercial data analysis, pricing, aftermarket/service product pricing, or financial planning and analysis (FP A).
Proficient working knowledge of Oracle EBS.
Strong analytical, statistical, and financial skills. Able to use business acumen to apply these skills to model complex business cases and provide clear recommendations to senior leadership.
Team oriented and collaborative, with a proven ability to work with diverse, cross-functional organizations.
Skills:

Ability to problem solve and see the bigger picture and how work contributes to function and company success.
Ability to function as a team player as well as independently.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines.

Advanced and demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
