Your role

Dekker Vacuum is part of the Atlas Copco Industrial Vacuum Division, with the intent to become the undisputed market leader in highly engineered pumps and systems with world class lead times and customer responsiveness. The Financial Analyst role will directly support that mission and be an important player in the in the accounting/finance group. Reporting to the Business Controller, the Financial Analyst will be involved in all facets of the department including processing invoices, account analysis, journal entries and more. As the Financial Analyst, you will report into Finance

You will provide analysis and supporting documentation to production overheads. You will assist the business controller in the preparation of the labor and overhead rates, ensuring they reflect the production environment. You will provide opportunities through analyzing to improve efficiency and contain production costs. You will organize and oversee the cycle counting function and process. YOu will manage control reports to ensure the integrity of the system, i.e. scrap, non-standard operations, non-productive time. You will investigate costs that appear inconsistent with previous experience / historical data. You will assist Finance Management in the review of operational budgets and forecasts as needed by the Planning Managers and their associated lines of reporting. You will document and enhance existing financial management information systems through process improvement, financial modeling and elimination of non-value-added activities. You will provide support in the validation and monitoring of Operations related transactions and during comparison of actual performance to estimated performance. You will provide support and liaison to the Operation functions in the validation of operational admin requirements including compliance with associated controls. You will support the Regional Finance organization in the following areas: tax compliance, management of commercial inventory, financial systems, and internal and external audit. You will support month end review together with Finance Management You will participate in assigned training programs.

You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or 3+ years of similar experience. CPA not required for this role. 5+ years experience. Manufacturing company experience recommended, but not required. IFRS/GAAP desirable but not required. Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) required. PowerBI experience. ERP systems, especially Syteline Establish performance criteria along with subsequent analysis and monitoring in a multi-business and global environment. You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
