We will do this together as a team with integrity and respect for our patients and each other.Your Day.As a CNA you need to know how to: Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipmentAssist with Drug Screenings and Breath Alcohol TestsCreate accounts and input patient demographics and health history for DOT PhysicalsComplete data entry for industrial and high school physicalsComplete asymptomatic rapid COVID testingComplete in-house swabs and testing for Strep, Influenza and COVIDPerform CLIA-waived in-house testing for patients of all agesAssist back office in managing patient flow, paperwork, and customer serviceAccurately document patient encountersRelay provider instructions to patientsScreen AB CPE patients for adult immunizationsAccompany providers during GU exams as chaperonePhone the ER with patient reports as directed by the UC providerAssist with all non-direct patient care tasks (autoclaving, stocking room, scanning records, lab cleaning, etc.)Assist with patient call backs for referrals onlyAssist the front office with the fax inbox, actions and scheduling wellness visitsAssist or lead in emergency situationsMaintain confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization, i.e. HIPAAIf certified in phlebotomy, may apply for the CNA-P designation once they have completed Admin Lab Training and a preceptor day with an IPL PhlebotomistPerform other duties as assignedYour experience.We hire people, not resumes.
