Job Description

As a Healthcare Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing treatment rooms for patient examination
  • Assisting with screenings and Breath Alcohol Tests
  • Creating accounts and inputting patient demographics and health history
  • Completing data entry for physicals
  • Performing in-house testing for patients of all ages
  • Assisting with patient flow, paperwork, and customer service
  • Accurately documenting patient encounters
  • Relaying provider instructions to patients
  • Screening patients for immunizations
  • Accompanying providers during exams
  • Phoning the ER with patient reports
  • Assisting with non-direct patient care tasks
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding patient and business functions
Requirements

To be successful as a Healthcare Support Specialist with our team, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid and current registry through the Idaho State Board of Nursing Aide Registry
  • Previous clinical experience preferred
  • A customer-service oriented attitude/behavior
  • Computer proficiency and ability to use applicable software
  • Vaccines to include annual Influenza, Hep B, TDaP, and TB
