We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsUnder the guidance and direction of the Director of Nursing and the Chief Nursing Officer, provides nursing leadership for assessing, planning , implementing and evaluating patient care and safety in assigned areas of responsibility in the ICU unit. Collaborates with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and their families. Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner. Supports the mission and vision of the facility, division and company. Assures quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care utilizing performance improvement process.What qualifications you will need:Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateRegistered NurseBachelors DegreeAdvanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateResearch Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital. Our hospital offers an array of medical and health clinic services. This includes women's services offering obstetrics and fertility, an emergency room, and a trauma center. We offer a Stroke Center, a walk-in clinic, and orthopedics across three Kansas City locations. We offer acute inpatient, day treatment, and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare.
