  • Issues purchase orders for all indirect and direct material.
  • Monitors purchase orders for on time delivery and reports late delivery notifications to plant personnel, scheduler, or plant manager.
  • Matches and approves all supplier invoices.
  • Processes material receipts in the system.
  • Performs physical inventory adjustments and inventory transfers.
  • Processes vendor debits for returns/rejects.
  • Works with premium freight data base.
  • Works with suppliers, corporate purchasing, quality assurance and the plant manager in settling disputes and issues.
  • All other work assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, equivalent work experience acceptable;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Good organization skills;
  • Self-motivated, ability to work in a deadline driven environment;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Detail oriented.
