We are looking for an experienced Sr. Buyer to join our innovative team in the medical device industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized professional with solid ERP experience and procurement expertise, especially in medical device and electronic-product compliance. You will play a key role in managing procurement and inventory processes for our small plant, which manufactures electronic and surgical-based products.
Key Responsibilities:

Source, purchase, plan, and schedule materials, components, and finished goods for production.

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, maintain quality, and meet production schedules.

Review forecasts, craft purchase orders, and adjust schedules as needed.
-
Analyze data to manage costs while maintaining product quality.
-
Oversee ERP planning and purchasing using SAP or Blue Yonder ERP systems.
-
Work closely with internal teams (production, warehouse, engineering) to align procurement with company needs.

Manage the introduction of new products (MPI) and ensure smooth integration into production.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the medical device or electronic-product industry.

Experience with ERP systems (Blue Yonder or SAP).
-
Knowledge of medical device supplier procurement and electronic-product compliance.
-
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Source, purchase, plan, and schedule raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, and finished goods through the production and inventory process.
