We are looking for an experienced Sr. Buyer to join our innovative team in the medical device industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized professional with solid ERP experience and procurement expertise, especially in medical device and electronic-product compliance. You will play a key role in managing procurement and inventory processes for our small plant, which manufactures electronic and surgical-based products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, purchase, plan, and schedule materials, components, and finished goods for production.

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, maintain quality, and meet production schedules.

• Review forecasts, craft purchase orders, and adjust schedules as needed.

• Analyze data to manage costs while maintaining product quality.

• Oversee ERP planning and purchasing using SAP or Blue Yonder ERP systems.

• Work closely with internal teams (production, warehouse, engineering) to align procurement with company needs.

• Manage the introduction of new products (MPI) and ensure smooth integration into production.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the medical device or electronic-product industry.

• Experience with ERP systems (Blue Yonder or SAP).

• Knowledge of medical device supplier procurement and electronic-product compliance.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, maintaining quality and meeting production schedules.

• Review forecasts to execute and adjust purchase orders as schedules change or material needs fluctuate.

• Analyze data to manage costs effectively while maintaining product quality.

• Oversee ERP planning and purchasing, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of purchase orders.

• Collaborate with internal teams (production, warehouse, and engineering) to align procurement schedules with company needs.

• Manage the introduction of new products (MPI) and ensure smooth integration into the production process.

• Utilize reporting, system adaptation, and data analysis skills to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
