An iD Tech Online Instructor is responsible for representing iD Tech’s engaging, skill-building, and inspirational educational experience in an online format. This includes fostering a safe environment where students can express themselves freely, ask questions, and receive valuable feedback. Reviewing curriculum and/or preparing a lesson planConnecting with students on timeEnsuring clients have the required software and hardware for their lessonProviding video conference supportDelivering high-quality, individualized instruction

Other responsibilities

Clocking in/out accurately and at the time work is completedSubmitting time cards by designated deadlinesAttending check-ins with your supervisorProviding advanced notice of schedule changesMaintaining your schedule, as well as reliable and predictable work attendance

Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years old.Must possess expertise in subject areas that pertain to iD Tech’s course offerings.College-educated, pursuing or already holding a degree in a related field of study.Must have a good “stage-presence” on camera and be able to engage students remotely in conversation.A background in tutoring kids and teens is highly desirable.Skills:Expertise in at least one of the following:Programming in Java, Python, C++, C#, or JavaScriptMachine LearningAIData ScienceDigital Video Editing2D or 3D Video Game DesignGame DevelopmentGame ModdingCharacter ModelingPay:This position pays $16/hr except in the following locations:California: $17/hr unless minimum wage is higher, in which case pay rate will be compliant with minimum wage.Employees in areas outside of California that have a minimum wage higher than $16/hr will be paid an hourly rate compliant with minimum wage.This position is eligible for 401(k) once eligibility requirements are met and other benefits as required by state or local law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
