Role Overview:
As the Care Team Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the Human Resources function to ensure the smooth operation of the team. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and other HR-related tasks, contributing to a positive and engaging work environment for our caregivers and administrative staff.

You will also serve as a backup scheduler, ensuring the smooth administration of care services. Reporting to Agency Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring we have a team of dedicated caregivers and staff to meet the needs of our clients across the Triangle Area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Hiring:
    • Manage job postings on various platforms and sourcing candidates.
    • Assist in conducting interviews with prospective caregivers.
    • Conduct pre-employment screenings and reference checks.
  • Onboarding and Training:
    • Support the onboarding process by ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
    • Coordinate and lead new hire orientations and training sessions in conjunction with the Registered Nurse.
  • Employee Records and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and state regulations.
    • Assist with maintaining confidentiality of HR files and employee information.
  • HR Support:
    • Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
    • Follow up with new caregivers in a timely manner to ensure they are supported.
    • Support HR projects, events, and initiatives as needed
  • Back-Up Scheduling:
    • Under the supervision of the Scheduling Coordination, select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on assessment and care plan information for new and existing clients.
    • Accept on-call duty every three weeks, or as directed by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in recruitment or human resources, preferably in healthcare, home care, or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools, recruitment platforms, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have vehicle with valid auto insurance and motor vehicle report in accordance with insurer's standards.
  • Prior experience as a caregiver or NC Nurse Aide I status strongly preferred.
